Yes Pony Island has dragged me away again but I'm still keeping an eye on things in the G3 world. I'll hopefully have the 12 birthflower ponies packed and shipped to me from the US on Friday, I can't wait to see them and add them to the website. The newer ponies are starting to show up to so hopefully I'll be able to save up and find them too!

Hi everyone, sorry about the shocking lack of updates in the journal, I've just got back from holiday as it happens but that's no excuse for no updates in weeks!

We all had a great week at Center Parcs in Cumbria, and I checked the most important factor of the 'Village Centre' which was the toy shop, and yep, it sold ponies! Just the dress up Dsert Rose and Wysteria but still, I was impressed!

I got back to find that somewhere there was a big Toy Fair and Hasbro revealed lots of new cool stuff so I've just updated the site as much as I can right now, I'm a big short on time but I'm working on it! I've done most of the hardwork, just a couple of Breezies pictures to make (well about and according pages to post but they'll have to wait a little. It's Valentine's Day tomorrow - Happy Valentine's Day everyone! However, I have a card to make so I can't sit around here all day, lol!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and are finally getting to the end of the masses of unhealthy food that you stocked up on!

Here in Ponyland things are great, I need to say an ENORMOUS thank you to someone who donated two brand new Valentine's ponies, only just released in the US to g3mlp.com. I'm still gobsmacked at their generosity and I'm really, really thrilled.

I also received Wind Drifter in a trade and she's very pretty, she hasn't been forgotten amongst the amazement of the Valentine's ponies, who are called Wish-I-May and Wish-I-Might. They are so cool!

IRL things are still a bit down, obviously Christmas hasn't been the same without Mike's dad and my nan has become seriously ill with DLB, a form of dementia and it's been a somber Christmas knowing that we could be about to lose her too, it's so hard seeing her in hospital, not really knowing we're there. My aunt is also undergoing chemotherapy after a full mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in October so all in all the end of 2005 has been incredibly awful and hopefully 2006 can only get better.

Wow, the rest of my ponies arrived all on one day! Toboggan has made it over, thanks rochi-901, the SLHs and Target babies have arrived, thanks emery and oddly the TRU 4 pack has arrived, thanks kimono! I say oddly because the four pack was shipped by economy surface mail and made it to me in just 12 days from the US to the UK. What?!

Sometimes that happens, I had two items sent from the same state once and they arrived together, despite one being airmail and the other surface. Yet when I bought my Maxx statue it took a massive 15 weeks to arrive. Weird!

I now need to wash and groom the ponies and get hold of the camera to add photos to the site. I've also just arranged a trade with hollybeary for Wind Drifter which will be really cool!

Well, I'd best go and feed the kids, Ellie-Rose has a cold so she is constantly encrusted in snot - nice! Melody goes to her dads for Christmas tomorrow so that will be sad, but she'll be home on the 28th so I guess it's not too long.

Well I think Winter has hit my patch of the UK and already my family has suffered from a vomitting bug this weekend, and two of us have developed a cold. Yay!

Now that I'm feeling less queasy and more bunged up I'm happy to reveal that I got a parcel in the post today and it was the Winter Babies and Thistle Whistle - wow, they are so darn cute and I can't wait till Mike gets home so I can photograph the little guys and unpack them.

I'm still hooked on Pony Island, there's a link on my front page. I'm going to have my first pony baby tomorrow so I'm really excited to see how he or she looks! It's very addictive though I feel it needs some mini-games a bit like Neopets for the quiet times in the day!

Anyway, I'll post pics of the Winters asap and I hope everyone reading manages to avoid the wonderful bugs that come along at this time of year!

As some of you will know my father-in-law died the day after the UK convention. It was very sudden and still seems surreal, we only spoke to him an hour before he died and he'd been healthier than we'd seen him in ages in the few weeks before he died. He was only 64 and he died from his 10th Heart Attack during his life. He certainly was a fighter!

In the pony world life went on in the three weeks that me and my family spent in limbo, staying with my mother-in-law, making and decorating a spare room for her so people could stay, arranging the funeral etc, and some of the Crystal Princess line of ponies made it to the shelves in the US. Thankfully for me there aren't many ponies to add into the database, I'd actually covered a whole batch of new ponies before the convention and Hasbro have kindly not released any ponies since, the only thing to note was that the Winter Babies had names on the computer system in Meijers and of course I put up my photos from the convention finally. A lot of photos didn't work out but the good ones are up for you to see, check out the UK Convention link in the left menu.

Since I've been back home I've been working on my want list, I have a gorgeous Baby Ribbon that I'm hoping to trade for the Winter Babies and Thistle Whistle. The new Sunny Scents and Dream Designs still aren't out over in the UK yet (as far as I can see!), then I'm buying Toboggan, Sno-Glo, the new SLHs, the Target Babies that I hadn't got yet and the Toys R Us 4 pack, it's going to cost a lot of cash but I need some pony shopping to cheer me up.

The Pounds for Ponies challenge on the MLP Arena that I'm part of is now totally messed up so I need to begin again tomorrow and earn back some of that money, I haven't really been in the mood for dieting recently.

Wow! What a couple of days, I trekked out to Costco about 50 miles away to pick up Anchors Away, they wouldn't hold one for me or actually go and check it was the right set but I went anyway and there it was. Now I have 2 butterfly islands, 2 Honolu-loos but ONE ANCHORS AWAY! That rocks!

And then as if my week couldn't get any better I got my first black My Little Pony. The Project Pony is just fantastic, a real black matte pony. The girl who sent her over even put in the little postcard and a paper bag, I am so made up.

The convention starts Thursday and I'm going on Friday and Saturday so that should be really cool though I'm really nervous about meeting other pony fans and I really wish I'd stuck to that diet. I'm heading over to Manchester on Thursday as I'm going to see Nada Surf Thursday evening, it's just got to be the best week I've had in ages.

So anyway, I'm buzzing, the site is almost uptodate (I still need to do little pictures of the new Winter Babies out in the US) and there's only going to be more pony goodness as the week goes on!

Wow, the little pixie ponies are coming and we've got photos of the first two at the Arena, and they're so cute. Hasbro have called them Breezies ponies and the first two are Tiddly Wink and Tra-La-La. I've posted the info that I have on the site, got to try and keep this place uptodate!

They're still only found in Taiwan so I guess it'll be a while before they're in the UK! Oh well, time to go and watch House!

Back again, I've been leaving awfully big gaps in this journal haven't I! I've been updating the site plenty though in the meantime and I'm waiting for pictures of a new G3 Baby called Lavender Locket to appear on the forums so I can have a little more info on her.

The title of this post is a new photo guide in the Pony Salon, I've wanted to do it for ages but either not had the time or chickened out as it's actually altering the pony permanently! I'm pleased with the results though.

I'm a proud mum this week too as Melody had her picture printed in the UK MLP magazine so she's already a published artist, lol! I updated their photos in Ponyland, I suppose I should really put her artwork in the Gallery too!

There's loads of ponies added to my Want List, the two new Winters Toboggan and Sno-Glo, Lavender Locket of course and then the troublesome Anchors Away, that's going to be really hard to get hold of and a real pest! I've managed to get the four new Family Dollar ponies in a trade so I'm delighted for that, it's made my want list more manageable! Oh yeah, Guava Lava has a shop but I'm hopeful that she'll be released over here anyway so it's only the Targets and Anchors Away that are going to be on my immediate searches on ebay!

Anyway, best go, been thinking about adding a mini site regarding the G1 UK Activity Club so I need to get my thinking cap on!

Wow, I had such a great response to AIPOG, thanks everyone for giving it a go, of course now I have to figure out if I can make a harder one. If only I had some programming skills!

On the MLP front, some prototypes were spotted on ebay and I'm am just dying to get my hands on the new ponies. We've got pegs with metallic wings, ponies with prints up their legs and what looks like teenage and newborn ponies. Take a look on the welcome page and click through to see photos!

Otherwise I got the Sunshine Blossom and Fancy Flora set from a great girl on the Arena - thank you! -  and I've starting secretly collecting a few G1s! Only the Summer Wings and Windy Wings I hasten to add, that's just 12 ponies, no more G1s, I promise. I bought Sky Dancer and immediately had to completely rehair her which was a little irritating but at least I had a donor in the bait bag!

The new prototypes make up for the fact I was all excited about trying to buy Rosey Posey but the seller took the listing down She actually says she never received it to sell on, perhaps she shouldn't have listed her until she actually held her in her hands!

It's so cool though, I REALLY want one of those prototypes, it'd be such a cool piece of history. Ooh, and there's also rumours about some kind of tiny pixie ponies so keep watching the site for more news!

Private life side, I'm up and down, still trying for that third baby and in the fourth month now. How is it I got pregnant while on the Pill twice and now I'm not I'm finding it difficult!
